All Stars Series ends with Showcase

On Sunday February 1st, 2015, the Barbados Volleyball Association All-Star Series showcase ended on a high note with 4 matches being played. Before the featured All-Star teams competed (Assassins, Hammer Time, Wolf Pack and Kings) past national players suited up to challenge the future stars of the Barbados National Junior teams.

Final All Stars Night

All the stars will be out on Sunday February 1st, 2015 to close the Barbados Volleyball Association All-Star Series. Past stars, current stars and future stars will come together to compete in a packed evening of volleyball at the Wildey Gymnasium on February 1st, 2015. Notable players such as Ivor Lashley, Elwyn Oxley, Andrew Culpepper, Angelina Smith and Shirley Hoyte-Boyce will be added to the mix as each All-Star game (current) will preceded by a match up between past national players and th

All Star Series 2015

The Barbados Volleyball Association will be staging an All Star Series tournament to cap off the end of the Division 1 regular season which ended in November 2014. The All Star event has been obsolete to the Barbados national volleyball league for a while now, however the idea has been resurrected by the Assistant Secretary/Treasurer of the Barbados Volleyball Association – Ms. Carol-Lyn Edghill and is supported by the Executive Board.

Barbados top Group A

Barbados defeated Honduras 3-1(22-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-19) for its second victory and the top place in Pool A of the NORCECA U21 Men’s Continental Championship at “Palacio de los Deportes”.
