Hill Road and Deacons in the top four

Wednesday, November 2 – Hill Road held on to the second spot and Deacons the fourth when the Goddard Enterprises Limited division one action continued at the Wildey Gymnasium.

Carlton was on the verge of going two sets up when they held set point 24-20 in the second set. However, a slew of successive service errors and mistakes by Carlton gifted Hill Road their fifth win.

Former queens Deacons displaced Chargers for the fourth position by handing them a straight sets defeat 25-16, 25-19, 25-17. Without an injured setter Dayna Babb Chargers could not match the all round team play of their opponents.

Warrens shock Toners
