Sunday, May 25, 2025 — The University of the West Indies Blackbirds found themselves outmatched on Sunday night as defending men’s champions KFC Deacons and Burger King Clapham Toners soared to victory.

Home court advantage proved little comfort for UWI Blackbirds in the first match, as KFC Deacons defeated their hosts in straight sets, 25-15, 25-10, 25-19.

The second match saw the Blackbirds take an early lead against Burger King Clapham Toners, winning the first set 26-24. However, the Toners quickly regrouped in the next two sets, cruising to 25-13 and sealing the win with a hard-fought 16-14 in the final set.
