Tuesday, June 10, 2025 – Phoenix Security Services Carlton delivered a straight-sets victory over the visiting UWI Blackbirds, while Blazers staged a dramatic comeback to topple second-placed Club United.

At Carlton’s home court, the hosts secured their fourth win of the season with a 25-20, 25-15 triumph. Towering at 6’3”, Charity Cumberbatch was a force at the net, leading Carlton’s attack with powerful spikes and crucial blocks. Despite a strong counter from UWI’s Anna Elgin, who fought hard to keep her team in contention, Carlton’s cohesive play proved too much for the Blackbirds.

Earlier in the evening, Blazers delivered one of the most electrifying turnarounds of the season. Trailing 17-23 in the first set against Club United, Blazers refused to back down, clawing their way back to snatch the set 26-24. The momentum carried into the second set, where they overwhelmed Club United 25-15, sealing a statement victory.
