Thursday, April 23, 2026 – Development Volleyball in Motion (DVM) was the only team which failed to capitalize on playing at home when lower division volleyball continued yesterday.

Up Parish Land, Christ Church Foundation United won both division two matches. Foundation stopped Chargers 25-22, 25-22. Awesome hitting by Nathan Crawford-Wallis then nullified the effort from former Barbados setter Dale Addison and attacker Jamar Thompson for Foundation to deny Hill Road 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Carlton scored a surprise victory

Tuesday, June 10, 2025 – Phoenix Security Services Carlton delivered a straight-sets victory over the visiting UWI Blackbirds, while Blazers staged a dramatic comeback to topple second-placed Club United.

At Carlton’s home court, the hosts secured their fourth win of the season with a 25-20, 25-15 triumph. Towering at 6’3”, Charity Cumberbatch was a force at the net, leading Carlton’s attack with powerful spikes and crucial blocks. Despite a strong counter from UWI’s Anna Elgin, who fought hard to keep her team in contention, Carlton’s cohesive play proved too much for the Blackbirds.

Earlier in the evening, Blazers delivered one of the most electrifying turnarounds of the season. Trailing 17-23 in the first set against Club United, Blazers refused to back down, clawing their way back to snatch the set 26-24. Champs Deacons cool Blazers

Thursday, June 5, 2025 – Defending division two men’s champions KFC Deacons maintained their bid to retain their title when they held off a spirited challenge from Blazers on their home court.

It took a special attacking game from Korey Webster for Deacons to take the battle, which lasted over two hours, 25-11, 24-26, 25-21, 23-25, 15-11. Remarkably, Blazers averted game and match point from 4-14 to reach 11 before losing the decider.

Seth Jervier held his serve as Blazers defended stoutly and counter-attacked to press Deacons when the game seemed to be over. The fire from Webster and the inconsistency from Blazers denied them that possible upset.

Earlier, Blazers edged Deacons in a Division Three men’s game 23-25, 25-18, 15-13.
