Phoenix Security Services Carlton continued their winning streak when the senior knockout continued at the Wildey Gymnasium on Wednesday, August 23.
In the battle to go two games up Phoenix Security Services Carlton proved their come-from-behind five sets win over Chargers was no fluke as they stopped Hill Road 25-21, 25-15, 25-20. The play of Nerissa Dyer, Rhea Bryant, Tamika Husbands, Tiara Johnson, and setter Tiffany Webster proved a potent combination for Carlton.
Chargers rebounded from their first game loss stopping Warrens 25-21, 18-25, 25-15, 25-11. In the second set Chargers were up 21-18 before the officials spotted a positional fault by Chargers. With the scores being reverted to 18-18 Warrens seized that set but nothing more.
