Meanwhile, the Chargers delivered a commanding performance against Starz, sweeping the match in three sets: 25-19, 25-12, 25-21.

Burger King Clapham Toners Upset KFC Deacons

Wednesday, March 26, 2025 – In a dramatic five-set battle, the Burger King Clapham Toners defeated the season-long favorites, KFC Deacons. Led by the unstoppable Ashley Jordan, the Toners staged a stunning comeback, overturning the Deacons’ dominance with scores of 15-25, 25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 15-12.

Chargers claimed their match against Carlton in commanding style, breezing through with scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-13. Their seamless teamwork and unmatched firepower proved too much for Carlton.

Chargers showcased their skill and teamwork, leaving WOW Foundation scrambling to catch up. The match clearly displayed Chargers’ cohesive play and tactical prowess.

Burger King Toners crushed Hill Road in another straight-set victory: 25-18, 25-23, 25-18. Their relentless offensive strategy ensured Hill Road had little room to mount a comeback.

UWI Blackbirds in Decisive Victory

The UWI Blackbirds showcased their prowess on the court, flying past Hill Road in a decisive straight-set victory. Thursday, March 20, 2025 – Leaders WOW Foundation showcased their strength and determination in their quest for the division one volleyball crown. They triumphed over Chargers in a hard-fought four-set match, with scores reading 25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Chargers leaned heavily on the experience and skills of Dale Addison, whose attacking and defensive prowess kept Foundation under relentless pressure. Despite the intensity of the game, Foundation delivered an impressive display of spiking and blocking power, although their journey to victory was marred by 11 serve errors, which offered Chargers glimmers of hope throughout the match.

Meanwhile, Starz Volleyball Club solidified their hold on the third spot in the standings with a hard-fought victory over Club United. Starz delivered a solid performance in the first two sets 25-18 and 25-16.

However, the third set turned into an epic battle as Club United, determined to avoid a straight-sets defeat, pushed the set to an astonishing 34-32. The nail-biting finish thrilled the crowd and showcased the grit of both teams, but Starz ultimately emerged victorious.
