Starz Volleyball Club upset Chargers’ men 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20 when the Goddard Enterprises Limited division one volleyball league action continued yesterday at the Wildey Gymnasium.

Deacons who are yet to drop a set for the 2020 season rolled over the losing knockout finalists Barbados Bearing Progressive 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

The other matches played were women’s encounters with UWI handing Theta Math Academy Club United their third successive loss 25-13, 25-22, 25-18.  Chargers coming from two sets down to beat Development Volleyball in Motion 24-26, 21-25, 25-13, 25-8, 15-9.  Burger King Clapham Toners also took five sets to heat their grill in order to burn Phoenix Security Services Carlton 17-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 16-14 and Deacons defeated Pan American Insurance Warrens 25-11, 25-23, 25-17.
