Sunday, July 19, 2026 – Ten times Caribbean volleyball kings Barbados will battle the 2025 champions Curaçao on Monday, July 20 in the gold medal match of the inaugural CAZOVA Final Four championship in Brievengat, Curaçao.

After a grueling two days the hosts Curaçao advanced to the final on Sunday night after winning all of their three matches. Curaçao capped an outstanding performance by coming from a set down to hand Barbados their lone defeat on Sunday night 20-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-18.

Previously Curacao defeated the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago. Barbados similarly handed those two nations straight sets drubbings. However, with the four teams starting on Saturday and then playing twice on Sunday, Barbados and Curacao played within themselves as the outcome of yesterday’s final match would not have altered the gold medalists qualifiers.

In addition, after Barbados took the opening set, coach Andrew Culpepper rested some of his key players and gave ample court time to all of his reserves. Tonight should see a thrilling battle between the awesome hitting power of the Bajans and Curacao.

Preceding the gold medal match The Bahamas and T&T will clash for the bronze.
