Thursday, June 9, 2026 – Lower division volleyball produced a flurry of decisive results on Thursday, with Hill Road, Deacons, and Blazers all stamping their authority in their respective fixtures.
At Bank Hall, Hill Road celebrated two victories. Their division three women rallied from a set down to topple Gladiators 20-25, 25-23, 15-4, with Dayna Babb’s serving spree propelling them to a commanding 9-0 lead in the decider. The division two men followed suit, edging Phoenix Security Services Carlton 25-22, 26-24, as Carlton’s inconsistency once again proved costly.
KFC Deacons split results at home. Their division two men overwhelmed Advent in straight sets 25-17, 25-8, 25-12, but the division three men faltered against Chargers 23-25, 20-25.
Over at Cave Hill, Chargers continued their winning ways, handing Free Hill’s division three girls a rare back-to-back defeat 25-20, 17-25, 15-10. Blazers capped the evening with a fiery display, torching UWI Blackbirds 25-9, 27-25 in straight sets.
